Why Not Us?

Why Not Us? is an 8-minute narrative film that was directed, produced and edited by me, with the support of Late Bloomer. The intent behind this piece is to highlight diversity in creative fields, how they can inspire a next generation of artists. Inclusivity is at the core of my values as a creator, and this project gave me a fun opporuntiy to invite people from my community into the filmmaking process. I specifically chose people across diverse backgrounds and experience levels to curate an open learning envvironment, where everyone can thrive. During productions days I like to get everyone involed, so I added a short behind-the-scenes reel at the end to show the audience what it feels like to be on set with us.
